Impact
We’re just getting started.
RECF is a brand-new foundation. We haven’t funded our first projects yet, so there are no results to report here, and we won’t pretend otherwise. What we can share today is where support will go and how we’ll report back to you.
Where support will go
Five focus areas.
- Conservation in the wild: protecting Ontario’s reptiles and amphibians and the habitat they depend on.
- Conservation in care: care, rehabilitation and breeding programs for at-risk species.
- Programs around the world: support for trusted conservation partners beyond Canada.
- Research: field studies that guide where help is needed most.
- Education for kids: opening up access to hands-on nature learning.
Our promise
How we’ll report back.
We’ll publish what we fund
Every project we support will be listed on this page, with who we’re working with and why we chose it.
We’ll report results, good and bad
We’ll share what each project achieves, including what doesn’t go to plan and what we learn from it.
We’ll explain how donations are used
Supporters will be able to see clearly where their money goes.
We’ll keep you updated
First projects, partners and stories will be shared here and on our Instagram as they happen.
Be one of our first supporters.
